After the FUE hair transplant operation, a bandage will be placed on the donor area and a hair band around the forehead to prevent swelling and potential slight swellings around the eyes and on your face.
Small crusts in the operated area and small red dots on the donor area will appear immediately from the intervention, but will heal completely in maximum 15 days.
Patients may experience swelling or/and mild pain during the first few days after the operation. These symptoms are very normal and can be alleviated by ice packs, hair care and lotions or certain painkillers recommended by the doctor.
Swelling around the face and mainly around the eyes can occur in rare cases during the first days after surgery. In this case, the application of ice to swollen areas is the best and most effective solution.
The swelling will disappear in about 5 days maximum and no medication is mandatory.
Patients are recommended to sleep in a semi-sitting position in order to avoid damaging friction.
DAY 1
The day after the operation, the patient returns for postoperative cleaning and PRP treatment. After cleaning, the bandage will be removed.
DAY 1-2
The postoperative hair washing procedure begins. The first hair wash will be performed at our clinic. Patients are provided with shampoo and lotion and shown how to wash hair within 40 days. It will be recommended for the patient to wash his hair every day for 40 days with the provided hair care.
DAY 5-7
In the first week, the transplanted grafts will become stronger and will not fall off due to contact. It is necessary to avoid scratching the transplanted area given the sensitivity that remains. A week after the surgery, the transplanted hair will begin to fall out and this fall will continue for 2-3 months. After that, new permanent grafts will begin to grow.
DAY 15-30
The patient regains his normal appearance within the first two weeks. Redness, crusts and swelling completely disappear, and no one can say that one has undergone a hair transplant.
1-3 MONTHS
The loss of transplanted hair continues. Patients should not worry. After the fall stops, new regrowth will appear and will be permanent.
4-6 MONTHS
Hair regrowth and growth intensifies between the fourth and sixth month, a significant result begins to appear.
6-12 MONTHS
The transplanted hair continues to grow and becomes thicker, dense and strong.
MONTHS 12-18
The final result of your FUE hair transplant operation is only achieved between the 12th and the 18th month. The hair will be thicker and longer. You will be able to appreciate the final result for the frontal area only from the 12-15 months after the operation, 18-20 months for the hair area (Vertex).
